FOUR month FATTY

Blake had his four month check-up today, and couldn't be healthier!! He handled his shots like a champ, and measured about 17 pounds and 26 inches long. That puts our big boy in the mid-eightieth percentiles for both height and weight! This week Blake learned to grab his feet, and he is sleeping through the night! Halleluiah!!!!!!! The end of July was full of fun. Blake took me on a date to Pioneer Day in Aberdeen while Eric was working.
Blake and Aunt "Huggy" after the parade! I hadn't been to Aberdeen in over eight years, and it's pretty cute little town. TANGENT/Personal plug for myself: I've been working out for an hour a day, 5 days a week, and it's paying off! Last week I got into ALL of my jeans again, and I feel goooood!!! Actually, yesterday I wore a German dress to church that I got when I was 16! Of course I could hardly breathe, but I wore it proudly :)
We've been fishing a couple times at East Fork, and Blake was feeling like quite the tough guy in his baggy jeans and hat.
Deep down, he's just a softy....
But he's gotta keep up his macho demeanor like Daddy :)
We've been playing with cousins at the cabin...
...swimming at Downata Hot Springs...
...family reunion-ing at Bear Lake...
...and eating everything in sight!
This kid is a little piggy! He realizes that when Eric and I eat at the table, there is food involved...and he wants some, by golly!! One of the best baby-shower gifts I got was a food-grinder (THANKS Grandma Rodabough), so he gets tastes of our dinner and he thinks its great! Now we're starting to introduce specific veggies each week.
BRING ON THE YAMS!
