I CAN CAN

...No, not the high-kicking dance, but real domesticated, wife-ful CANNING!! I can do it! Okay, I know it's not rocket-science, but hey! I haven't canned in over 6 years, and I did it all by myself! (Eric helped too, of course) We ordered some pears and peaches, and our summerly salsa garden really outdid itself this year....DOZENS upon dozens of tomatoes and all different colors of peppers!! We probably made 20+ pints of delicious salsa! The other garden has had a shmorgasbord of vegetables all summer. Blake has even been enjoying various ground veggies. Potatoes are a DEFINITE favorite. This Idaho boy doesn't eat potatoes, he inhales them :) Yesterday Eric brought some carrots home from the garden. He unearthed this treasure:Hahahahaha!! There now sitting in our fridge. (I'm doing an experiment to see if a continous supply of baby carrots will appear!)
