Sentimental Journey

With much reluctance to separate these twinner buddies for a couple days... Little Guy accompanied me on a much-needed trip of nostalgia :) Blake and I headed down to Provo last Friday to visit my some family and old friends at BYU!! Every once in awhile, I really miss BYU and enjoy walking through campus and remembering places, foods, faces, smells, and memories. It was really fun to be on campus with Blake, and he was such a good boy!
I took Blake to a small atrium in the JSB where I decided/knew I'd marry Eric the following spring. Blake thought it was pretty cool. We met up with Aunt Abi, who had just moved to Provo a couple weeks ago!
Sadly, these were the only pictures I took of our WHOLE TRIP! Lame. I got to see all of my siblings at BYU, and some cousins and old friends! That night I stayed with the Ashby's in American Fork. On Saturday, we took it easy, and Nicole, Jules, Blake, and I went on a gorgeous hike to a river in Alpine. It was such a treat to stay with the Ashby's, share Blake with the girls, and spend a whole day with my dear Nicole, with some Julesness sprinkled in here and there. :) AWESOME weekend!! Can't wait to do it again someday!
F
riday night, my parents, Madi, Max, and my grandparents stayed with us at the cabin. My Dad has been training for LOTOJA, a 209 mile bike race from Logan, UT to Jackson, WY!!!! He ended up finishing in less than 11 hours--GO DAD!! (pretty sure he has a sore tushy today.) So yesterday after my family had left, I had a hard time leaving this face with Papa and Nene at the cabin.
As much as I missed that smile, Eric and I had a great day just the two of us. We went to Logan to recall our Aggie days! I sure love that beautiful valley and campus also. We decked ourselves out in Aggie gear from the bookstore, ate some Aggie ice cream, met up with TJ, and went to the football game. USU-38 ISU-17
Go Aggies!! Great game, great place, BESTEST guy ever!
