{our fall fun}

....shotgun shootin, family visits, sewing, playing, movies, scooting everywhere (Blake), grilling on Eric's new grill, and growing 2 new teeth (the second tooth broke through an hour ago!!!)....We sure have been enjoying October at the Sorensen household! Our Big Little Pumpkin is so excited to go trunk-or-treating on Saturday and kindly share some (all) of his candy with Mom and Dad. Bwahahaha!! I love Halloween, and who cares if I have alterior motives?! Right? :) Earlier this month, I spent a couple days slaving away on this masterpiece:Blake is going to be the MOST adorable puppy on the block. And yes. I am quite proud of myself....and the fact that I finished a sewing project without swearing once! GO ME!!! It has been a busy month of projects. We finally tackled THIS project: river-rocking the walk-out basement.
It only took us amateur masons a month's worth of Saturdays to finish the rock. I'm amazed we still have fingerprints on our nubby fingers...pretty hard on the hands! I think it turned out to be pretty gosh darn good-looking :) The day after we finished, our little family went to Logan for Gish's wedding reception and the Utah State Homecoming game! ...and my other handsome man! Yep, Blake has already drooled all over his new sweater. Soooo, these pictures were taken right before the rain/monsoon started. We only really saw the first quarter before the downpour! Oh well, it was a rough game anyway. We headed north, and lucky for us, we got to see Grandma Sorensen in Preston for pizza and visiting!!

Blake watched Grandma's every move and got quite a kick out of her :) We've been drinking in the autumness, but I think it's coming to an end. It's getting cold, cold, COLD! I'm crossing my fingers that Saturday will be nice....HAPPY HAUNTING!!!
