sick sick SICK!!

The three of us have had nasty colds for a week and a half. Blake caught some bug, gave it to us, and hopefully we'll have perked up in time for Turkey Day! I am so ready be done with snot, coughing, snot, hoarseness, aches, snot, sore throats, fatigue, snot, and blahness!! Oh....and did I mention SNOT?!? I swear, Blake is an leaky faucet!!!! Blake has an ear ache on the mend, and hopefully my voice (which disappeared 4 days ago) will return soon! Before we succumbed to illness, we snuck off for a date doing a session in the Twin Falls temple and had a fun night bowling with T.J. and Candice. I also spent a relaxing evening putting this little wreath together:
I'm trying to accumulate holiday decorations now that we're staying put for awhile. For Halloween, I waited until the very end of the holiday and bought adorable decorations on sale for dirt cheap!! I'm planning on doing the same with Christmas. BUT we planted some indian corn in the garden this year, and they were too cute to not use. I got a twig wreath at a thrift for for 25 cents! I hot-glued the corn on, wrapping the wreath in raffia and gold wire, and added some leaves.
Voila! We're off to Grandma Rodabough's in Woods Cross for Thanksgiving. Hopefully we'll be feeling fine by then...and I pray we won't catch something else!! Wishing everyone health and safe travels through the snow this week!
