wonderful weekend!!

Last weekend was WONDERFUL!! Our little family took a trip to Utah to visit Tara and Sterling, go to a wedding, and see Megan graduate from BYU with a major is Psychology!Sam and his beautiful, accomplished wife!My mommy's FIVE Christensen girls :)We're so proud of you and love you, Megan!April 22, 2011 was the day my most bestest girlfriend (Nicole) married HER most bestest friend! (Matt) I helped with the reception and got to do their flowers!!!! Tulips and more tulips :)
Matt's groom boutonniere
Nicole's gorgeous candlestick bouquet
Mothers' lapel corsages (Grand)Fathers' boutonnieres
Grandmother lapel corsagesNicole Ashby and Matthew Boulter (here with Grandma Ashby) were married in the Mt. Timpanogos LDS temple, and Eric and I were blessed to attend the sealing. It was simply lovely! And the bride was lovely too, of course! I LOVE this girl :) She wore her Grandma Johnson's wedding gown, and Matt wore the suit his father wore as a young groom. These two are an eclectic, timeless couple with an appreciation for history, romance, and the arts.Sooo....of course theire reception was perfectly vintage and classy! It was in the Grove Theater and included amazing food, mingling, dancing, and sweet songs exchanged between the two :)It was the most magical, romantic wedding weekend I have ever seen, and it was awesome to be a part of!Cutie-pa-tootie bundt wedding cakes!I have been waiting over THREE YEARS for this event, and it was perfect. I love these two and wish them every happiness! We had a ton of fun staying with the Bone's watching movies, having "girl time" with Tara, and playing with the little boys.Blake had his first Easter with his cousins.....and I took NO pictures!! Hopefully Tara will let me steal some :) Aaaaand she did!! Here's our Easter morning! He found some eggs, wore a new outfit (THANKS, Aunt Tara!), and screamed through sacrament meeting. It was a wonderful, busy "vacation," but what a treat to be apart of these big events!
