One of my favorite events of the year was April 13th and 14th....Mini-Cassia Jr. Miss (now known as Distinguished Young Women)!!! My dear baby sister Madisen competed this year and blew us all away! There were 37 girls that competed this year. Wednesday night was the preliminary night, and Thursday was Top 10 and awards.

Most of us made it for the preliminary night, including Eric, Blake, and Grandma Rodabough and Grandma Kate. Blake did really well! Sure we had to juggle him across the rows to keep him entertained, but he loved dancing during the Fitness and singing (yelling) during Talent performances :)

For the final night, Mom, Dad, Blake, and I were the only ones to make it both nights.....but the sisters were even more bummed they missed it when they found out Madi made the TOP TEN!! The performed wonderfully and won a well-deserved Talent scholarship!
Way to go, Madi Cakes!!! We are so proud of you! You are beautiful inside and out, and have a bright future ahead :) Love you, sis!
