..just BALLIN..

Last Thursday was one of the best days of Eric's life. It was the day he purchased his little boy a basketball hoop! Blake was so excited, he ate his socks on the ride home...weirdo.He thinks it's so funny to pull off his shoes and socks. If we hear giggling from the back seat, we have a good idea of what's going on! We got home, set up the hoop, handed Blake the ball....and he knew just what to do!Eric was SO PROUD of his future baller!Blake practices making baskets all day now, and just loves it!! It's helping him walk too! In the last 48 hours, he's now taken 4 STEPS, another tooth came in, and he started saying "uh-oh!"
I finally got a new fancy-shmancy bike for the Triathalon, and I only have 2 more months of training! The end is in sight, and I'm getting stronger. :) I'm growing my hair out so I can put it up or something for the race. But my head of hair has been seeming somewhat blah. I wanted to spice things up! I wanted to color it something like my freshman year at BYU:
My under-layers were NEON RED, and I loved it!! Luckily, the honor code office said nothing about it, but my mom made me dye it back to brown before I moved home. Much to my dismay, Eric shares my mother's opinion on the matter of hair. :( Nothing too crazy. Party-pooper! So when Candice and the girls came to A.F., they wanted to get feathers in their hair. So I did too! I went with an aqua one.
Something different and fun, yet subtle enough for Eric's approval. It's a win-win! Today we've spent Memorial Day eating a big breakfast, having a lazy morning, and going to Pocatello. We went to Mckee's to see all the animals. Blake loved it, and so did we! Blake pointed and made sure we knew that every creature with four legs and fur was a "dog"....even if it was a goat or pig. We'll definitely be back :) Happy Memorial Day! THANK YOU to our ancestors who paved the way for our lives, and much appreciation to the armed forces that sacrifice to defend our freedom. We love you and pray for you often!
