My Main Men

This Father's Day, I must thank the 4 main men in my life! Blake is one of the four, of course...but he's not a dad, so move over, baby! The spotlight is on these other three wonderful men! First up is my fabulous father. Hard-working, ambitious, honest, smart, fun, adventurous, and full of love and affection. I will forever be thankful for his patience and long-suffering while raising me :) He'd give me hugs and words of encouragement when my mother was about to kick me to the curb (love you, Mom!)He may look dapper in this picture from 2008, but take away the mustache and some pounds.....and you have yourself a lean, mean cycling machine!! He rides a hundred miles like it's a walk in the park. My daddy is a handsome devil, and I love you, Daddy!!

Next up is my wonderful father-in-law. I really hit the jackpot in the "in-laws" department!! Living a mile away from Eric's parents means lots of time spent together, and I just love it! Dad is one of the most kind, sincere, and loving people I know! He's the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He also cracks me up!!! I enjoy his sense of humor!
Eric has spent many evening with Dad farming and fencing at the farm/cabin. They have such a neat relationship, and I'm so glad we live so close! Thanks for raising such a great son!!

Last up is Blake's amazing daddy, and my true love, Eric. He makes such a wonderful father and works so hard to support us. He teaches Blake new things everyday, picks up my slack, and keeps us giggling. He is a wonderful person full of countless attributes that I love! Eric, you are loved more than you even know!!!
Who knew this guy would fill those fatherhood-shoes like a pro? I never had a doubt. Over the weekend my parents a most of my siblings came to the cabin, swam at Downata Hot Springs, ate, played games, laughed, shot skeet, and enjoyed eachother's company. I even made a Father's Day cake:ALL of these guys are kings of the grill, so I thought this was appropriate :) After my family left, we spent the rest of Saturday fencing with Eric's parents. It was great to see both of my Dads in one day! We sure love you!!
