*::Our 4th::*

Blake has been walking for a couple weeks now---YAY finally!! He had to make up his own mind (on my parents' 26th anniversary!) and hasn't slowed down since! We had a great Independance Day weekend. Tara and the boys came over Friday night, and Blake loved playing with the big boys!On Saturday we all headed to the cabin to fence (of course), paint nails, grill, enjoy family, and light sparklers for the kids. Blake watched them through the window and "oooh"-ed and giggled. What fun! After church in Swan Lake, Mom and Dad brought Grandma Sorensen to the cabin for a Sunday visit.It's not the 4th of July without some American strawberry shortcake! We love you, Grandma!! We were so glad you could come see us :)Candice and the girls wanted to see a parade on Monday. There was one in Malad, so we loaded up the kids, and off we went!!It was a fun little parade, and downtown Malad is ADORABLE! Randomly, we ended up sitting next to my high school principal and his family!! I guess they're from Malad originally, and it was great to bump into the Bott's!When we got back to American Falls, we drove up a hill to watch the fireworks in the back of the truck. Holidays are so much more fun with kids :)
The next day, we took the kids to Indian Springs for a dip in the pool! Blake and Kaidence still look like twins :)What a great weekend to bring all things SUMMERy together!! I'm proud to be an American and live in such a beautiful land!
