We sure are loving summer here in Idaho with friends and family! Blake definitely knows what "outside" means, and he'd live outside if we let him. He's been a little unsure about the pool this year, so I was suprised that he gets the hugest kick out of the sprinklers. He is constantly getting soaked and giggling all the way! :)

Blake + water + dirt - clothes = happy boy!

Last Saturday was A.F. Day, and all the Sorensen's were home. That morning I ran the 5k along the face of the dam. I finished in 12th overall at 35 minutes....I felt great and I'm getting faster!! Afterward, Blake and I made it to the parade and all the fun booths and activities in city park. Eric missed out...the men-folk were doing manly work at the farm. (Sidenote: Eric finished week 2 of training in Idaho Falls and is catching on quickly!) So we ate, browsed, and Blake even got a ride on the "choo-choo" with his cousins!
Then yesterday Blake and I went to Burley to visit my family and see the Cassia County Fair! While there I finally finished some silhouette portraits of Eric and me. I got the frames at a thrift store for a buck a piece. Add a good cleaning, some paint, and Madi's Cricut, and tada!
They'll be adorable in our room at the cabin! Aunt Abi and Madi went with us to the fair. Blake enjoys the large animals but only from a distance. We ran into Grandma and Grandpa Christensen at the food booth and gave loves and said our goodbyes!
They report to the MTC on Monday, and it's still bittersweet to see them go. It was a fun visit, but now Blake keeps calling me "Abi" today:) We'll be sure soak up the sun while it lasts!
