September Summary

October is right around the corner, and I CANNOT wait for Halloween! Actually, our family costumes are already all but done...I kinda' jumped the gun on that this year :) Our September has been pretty mellow with canning, enjoying the outdoors, and lots of family time. Eric's 27th birthday was last Sunday, and he was spoiled with some nice new shirts and shoes for work, a rhino lining for the truck, and that snazzy vinyl sticker for the truck. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Eric! You're the best Daddy, and we love you!!It was a chill weekend, and hopefully Eric will wrap up training in Idaho Falls next month. Blake and I are so excited to see him at lunchtime again! Speaking of Blake, this little stinker went to nursery today!!!! BEST DAY EVER!
He'll be 18 months in just over a week, but we snuck him in early. He's such a busy boy, and getting too smart for his own good. The other day I counted how many words/names he knows. I was shocked to realized his vocabulary is 60-70 words--although only 40ish actually sound right. He is such a boy and a major tease! He has 16 teeth, can throw pretty hard, enjoys jumping on things (bed, couch, dog), runs full-throttle, dances to any beat, still drools like crazy, sings "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," LOVES to watch football (calls it poopball), cracks me up all day long, blows kisses, and is still a snuggler. (thank goodness!)
On Friday we went to the cabin to finish up the fencing, and I finally got our bedroom decorated! I was thrilled to find the cute matching plaque to hang between our silhouettes.
This other wall still seems like it's missing something on the left side, but it's still coming together.
Saturday evening, we ditched the kids and went with T.J. and Candice to Logan for USU's homecoming game against Colorado State. I had never seen Romney Stadium so packed! The game itself? It was fun.....kinda. We'll just leave it at that.It was nice to get away and reminisce our Aggie days :) Logan is so gorgeous in the fall! I can't wait for the leaves to really start changing here in Idaho! (it's not too early to bust out the hot cocoa, right?) Happy Autumn!!
